This book isn't just for female executives or those in the corporate setting. Women in various stages of their life can appreciate Janel's rich story and experience. I especially connected with the narrative around her mother, as her mother gave her the most meaningful lessons early on, something all mothers long to do. This is not a typical rags-to-riches story, but one filled with ton of heart and empathy for the women she has styled and will work with in the future, because Janel knows what really matters. It is the heart within each one of us that ultimately defines our brand.

Janel’s approach to storytelling goes beyond delivering brand value - she empowers people to define, own and align their own stories to lift others. She has been the secret force behind some of the most successful executives and now she is sharing her process. This is a must read.

To be honest Story.Style.Brand isn’t the usual genre of book that I read but...WOW. The author outdid herself on this book. It’s a fascinating look into her personal, family and business life. She treats the reader to an inside look at fashion and the story you want to tell.
